Arcadia Construction was founded in 2013 by Joshua Pams. Joshua’s career started in 2009 after he graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in Construction Management. It didn’t take long for Joshua to climb up the ladder from a Project Manager to a Superintendent where he managed the production of over 100 homes! Joshua then set sights for the Golden Coast where he landed a job as a Field Engineer at one of the top construction companies in the United States. This would have been a dream job for many, but Joshua (like many people of California) had heard about the booming housing market in Austin, Texas. In 2013, after hearing about the potential that the city of Austin had for a home builder he gave in, flew down, and never returned.
Joshua’s team has renovated prominent restaurants such as the Coast (now under a different name), dozens of high-rise condominiums, but nothing makes Joshua happier than bringing individualized remodeling solutions to the melting pot of Austin, where no project is the same.
Although work is very important, its crucial to have a proper work/life balance. When Joshua isn’t working, he enjoys:

- Playing Chess
- Time with his dog, Lucy
- Cooking
